Colophon This is a project that has been a long time coming. My parents bought me a book about HTML in 1996, and I've had personal sites on the web since the early days of Geocities, AngelFire, and Tripod. I've owned this domain name since about 2000, but with one exception (I have to admit to being embarrassed by some of my posts from that era), I've never used it for anything in particular. It's finally being put to good use now as an attempt to aggregate my blogs, social network profiles, and other web identities under one roof. I designed this site in Fireworks and Illustrator, coded it in Coda, and run it on WordPress using a custom theme. There are also a few automatically generated HTML pages from Synium's MacFamilyTree application. My theme uses "Gill Sans" as the font throughout. The color scheme is #171717, #373737, #7D8A2E, and #C9D787. I host with Media Temple. I owe special thanks and recognition to Ben Crowder, who inspired me in many ways, including aspects of my design and concept, and Zach Pendleton, who helped me with some technical hiccups that were beyond my skill level. |
